LiliF® Q-fever Real-time PCR Kit
Coxiella burnetii is an obligate intracellular bacterial pathogen, and is the causative agent of Q fever. The genus Coxiella is morphologically similar to Rickettsia, but with a variety of genetic and physiological differences. C. burnetii is a small Gram-negative bacterium that is highly resistant to environmental stresses such as high temperature, osmotic pressure, and ultraviolet light. These characteristics are attributed to a small cell variant form of the organism that is part of a biphasic developmental cycle, including a more metabolically and replicatively active large cell variant form. It can survive standard disinfectants, and is resistant to many other environmental changes like those presented in the phagolysosome.
This LiliF ™ Q-fever Real-time PCR Kit is designed as a probe-based real-time PCR product targeting a specific sequence in the Q-fever IS1111 element target gene and adopts a high-efficiency Hot Start PCR Enzyme. By maximizing the detection performance, this product is suitable for testing Q-fever causative pathogens in specimens with high sensitivity and specificity.
• This LiliF ™ Q-fever Real-time PCR Kit integrates Real-time PCR technology from iNtRON Biotechnology. It can detect real-time Q-fever pathogens in blood. By directly amplifying the target gene of Q-fever using polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and detecting it in real time, it is a product that promptly and precisely inspects presence of infectious bacteria in the sample.
• By applying a specific fluorescent probe to the Q-fever IS1111 element target gene site, this product can be used to confirm the exact infection of the relevant pathogen.
• This product is a product that can detect Q-fever cause pathogens present in blood, etc. in real time. It can directly amplify the target gene of Q-fever and detect it in real time, The product.
