MEGAquick-spin™ Plus Total Fragment DNA Purification Kit
MEGAquick-spin™ Plus Total Fragment DNA Purification Kit is designed for the purification and cleanup of DNA fragments ranging from 65 bp to 20 kb, including enzymatic reaction products from agarose gel and PCR amplification.
It has been shown to achieve up to 99% PCR purification efficiency, effectively removing nucleotides and primer dimers. The purified DNA is suitable for applications such as sequencing, cloning, and restriction enzyme digestion.

• PCR purification and gel extraction were performed for each size (89 bp ~ 20 kb) of PCR amplified products. The blue color is the product before amplification, and the orange graph shows the result after purification.
• The purification result for each PCR product confirmed 91 to 99% DNA recovery compared to before purification, and in the case of the gel extraction product, 68 to 88% DNA recovery was confirmed compared to the product before purification.
• The extracted DNA exhibits strong and distinct bands, confirming its suitability for downstream applications such as PCR and sequencing.
4. Purification results by Gel Concentration
• To check the performance of the extraction kit according to the agarose gel concentration, a small fragment sample of 89 bp was used.
• For the gel concentration, 1.5%, 4%, and 5% were applied, and each recovery rate result was checked. The recovery rate for each gel concentration was confirmed to be 72% / 61% / 56%.
• As a result, it was confirmed that purification of more than 50% was possible even with a 5% high concentration gel.
